Kate Middleton Wants to Help Kids Build Happy Lives!
And you can help!

___

Kate_MiddletonIn a compelling video released this week as part of UK’s Children’s Mental Health Week, Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, calls for schools to help children build resilience skills.“Each child has the right to grow up knowing their potential and feeling confident that they won’t fall at the first hurdle – that they can cope with life’s setbacks,” she said.

This is exactly the kind of work that our life coaches for kids are doing with children in the UK and around the world. And the best part is, you can help too!

While Kate encourages schools to provide this type of social emotional learning support to children, many don’t have the time, resources, or trained staff to do so. There is so much emphasis on academic achievement that counselors and other support positions are being cut throughout the world. This is where WISDOM Coaches can help.

WISDOM Coaches are trained to help kids develop social emotional learning through the use of Adventures in Wisdom “coaching stories” and techniques. Through life coaching, kids develop mindset skills to handle the ups and downs of growing up so that they can thrive in life – no matter what life brings them.

As Kate said so well, “While we cannot always change a child’s circumstances, we can give them the tools to cope, and to thrive. With early support, they can learn to manage their emotions and feelings and know when to seek help.”

Adventures in Wisdom agrees…
“Just like a child isn’t born knowing how to play the piano, a child isn’t born knowing how to bounce back from disappointment, to make good decisions and stand up to peer pressure, or to set and achieve goals,” shared Renaye Thornborrow, CEO of Adventures in Wisdom. “The time to help children develop mindset skills for happiness, confidence, and success in their lives is while they are young – when their core thoughts and belief systems about who they are, how the world works, and what is possible for their lives are being formed.”
The problem is that children often develop belief systems at an early age that won’t support them in reaching their fullest potential. With Adventures in Wisdom, children learn how to recognize and stop limiting beliefs and how to proactively develop supportive beliefs so that they can reach their fullest potential.
