LaToya R. Thompson is an author, elementary educator, and certified life “wisdom” coach for kids. She is committed to helping children climb the ladder of joyous living by encouraging them to laugh, learn, lead, listen, love, liberate, and leave a legacy.
Guided by a passion for educating, engaging, enriching, and entertaining children, LaToya created The L.R.D. Experience. The Lead, Read, Dream Experience is a small business that provides children with inquisitive exploration opportunities, intentional ethnic representation, and exciting self-development skills to empower their lives.
LaToya uses her knowledge in communications studies and certification in curriculum and instructional design to develop better communication and collaboration systems. She is also a leader supporting adult learners and is working toward her doctorate in Strategic Leadership.
She believes her service within social communities, small groups, and organizations will influence and inspire others to thrive.
