How WISDOM Coaching helped Leslie Build Social Confidence

Why Leslie’s Parents Sought Coaching for Her
Leslie’s parents sought support following concerns about their daughter’s self-esteem and confidence.
Her parents and teacher had noticed that Leslie was struggling with how she saw herself and how she was showing up socially.
How WISDOM Coaching Supported Leslie and Skills She Learned
Leslie participated in an in-person, one-on-one 10-session “MindPower and Self-Esteem” WISDOM Coaching program with WISDOM Coach Karen.
Coach Karen used the Adventures in Wisdom Life Coaching for Kids Curriculum beginning with the Self-esteem Self-assessment and Self-esteem Skill Book.
They then progressed to the core MindPower skills to create a strong foundation for emotional regulation and self-belief. Leslie also did the self-talk and self-leadership skills.

The Results…
Leslie’s self-esteem scores showed a powerful shift. Here are five examples:
Belief that others like her: 2 → 10
Sense of belonging with peers: 5 → 10
Self-image and confidence: 5 → 10
Feeling that she has value in the world: 3 → 10
Influence from peers: 7 → 1
These results reflect a significant transformation in Leslie’s confidence, sense of belonging, and belief in her own value.
Leslie’s growth extended beyond the numbers. She experienced a powerful shift in how she sees herself and her place in the world.
As a result, Leslie is:
- She is happier at school
- She feels more secure in her friendships
- She is more confident in extracurricular activities
- She shows up more positively at home
Her increased ability to manage her thoughts and respond to challenges has supported a natural strengthening of her self-esteem.
