My zeal for coaching, teaching and providing children’s programming has been a part of my life since I was a teen.
My goal is always to guide children to become capable, confident and compassionate young adults. I take the time to know each of my students, to provide support that is appropriate for their individual needs and to set expectations that empower them to take responsibility for their own growth.
My certification as a WISDOM Coach builds upon my background in education. I have degrees in physical and health education and biology and am a certified teacher in Ontario. I have 12 years of classroom teaching experience, working with students aged 9-14 years, including many with special learning needs. I have also completed the Coaches Training Institute (CTI) – Fundamentals training course.
