Hello everyone my name is Dave Covington. I am a newly certified wisdom coach from Adventures in Wisdom.
My background working with kids and teenagers is extensive. I have worked in different Pediatric Wards, both civilian and military hospitals. I worked as a hospital Corpsman in the U.S. Navy.
I have a 3rd Dan Black belt in Taekwondo. I have ran dojos as an Instructor. I worked with many troubled youth, bully’s or being bullied, and those that lacked confidence in themselves. I not only taught them self defense, but also how to adapt with mental skills. Before I retired I was a Special Education Teacher and worked with both physical as well as mental disorders.
I am happy to be back helping children and teenagers with mental life skills. Helping them get through the road blocks of success. I stay involved with the youth as well as Special Olympics.
