I have led multiple after school programs in Theater Games and Backyard Plays with a focus on confidence building for kids ages 6-12. Having 30 years experience helping international university students from all over the world adjust to life in the United States, I have high cultural competency of meeting young people where they are at and creating a foundation of trust from where empowering mindset shifts happen!
My eldest son is a leukemia survivor. The two year experience of his treatment, recovery, slow speech development, and IEPs provided me with lots of wisdom, courage and empathy that I share with families struggling with ongoing health issues.
