That is up to you! Most trainers go through one skill book each day before completing their test; however, you can certainly go much faster or slower. We recommend budgeting about 6-8 hours for the entire process. 

You are the boss, and you decide how fast to complete your certification. The certification test is located on your client website, and you can take it and submit it at any time. You can reference your materials and take as much time as you need (most trainers take less than an hour to complete the test).

This is a license to use the Adventures in Self-Esteem™ Training Program in your business.

What you can do after you are certified:

• You can use the Adventures in Self-Esteem program LIVE with your clients – in person or online. Sessions should not be recorded. If someone misses an online training session, it is no different than missing an in-person training session.
• You can work with children 1×1, in small groups, or in workshops. 
• You can add your own activities and experiences into your training programs. Some of our trainers add yoga, new art projects, outdoor adventures, etc. Bring who you are into your work with kids!
• You can create a business you love training children!

What you cannot do with this program before or after certification:

• You cannot integrate all or part of Adventures in Wisdom intellectual property into a recording, information product, or derivative work to give away or sell.
• You cannot train others to use this program. This is a single-person license. If you have multiple people in your organization who would like to get trained, please contact us about a multi-person license for your organization.
• You cannot represent yourself as a WISDOM Coach. That is a different program. 
• You cannot represent the Me Myself and I™ method as your own. This is a trademarked system that is part of The Adventures in Self-Esteem™ program.
• You cannot remove Adventures in Wisdom branding or copyright information from materials.

Then use the Self-Esteem Launch Box resources and templates to share about your training package and start coaching kids. We’ve had trainers complete their certification and start working with children within one week. Action is the key!

Perfect — you don’t need to be! This curriculum and STORY Coaching Process are designed to guide your way. The Mentor Guides and Children’s Guides walk you through everything step-by-step. All you need is a heart for helping children. 

Adventures in Self-Esteem™ is designed for children in elementary and early middle school (approximately ages 6–12). We’ve had WISDOM Coaches use our stories with slightly younger children and teens as well. If working with teens, you would adapt the discussion questions to topics more relevant to their interests and challenges and you might adapt activities as well. Absolutely if you are trained and confident working with children who are neurodiverse. Over the years, many of our WISDOM Coaches have successfully worked with children who are neurodiverse. That being said, our program does NOT provide specific teaching, training, or guidance in working with children who are neurodiverse.
