Kids love to make gifts during the holidays. And a great gift that is inexpensive, fun to make, and will be treasured by the recipient for years to come are Success Celebration Jars!
Here’s what you need to make our Success Celebration jar craft for kids:
- Beautiful jar or box that can be decorated
- Items to decorate the jar or box
- Beautiful paper that can be cut into strips for messages
- Pens, markers or crayons for writing messages
For each person that your children want to give a gift to, have them write a special message about how much that person means to them and place it in the jar (their first success). Also write a note that shares how to use the jar. Their message could say something like:
“Celebrate you and your successes every day! Each day write down something you accomplished or are proud of and place it in the jar. Then every day, randomly pick at least one success and celebrate you!”
Next, let the kids decorate their jars.
After they have finished, they can give their gifts – gifts that will bring joy every day!
