Hello, my name is Sonia Burts. Lots of my friends and family Call me Sam. My passion for coaching began in my childhood. I was the friend that always showed up in support of my friends. I would be the person they trust to listen when needed. My friends referred to me as their “home base”. They knew that with me, it was safe to be the person they wanted the world to see them as.
As an adult, I continue following that feeling of being supportive of someone in need. This passion leads my path today in enjoying working with children of all ages. I have been eagerly working with children for over 20 years. I started as a camp counselor for kids ages 5-10 all throughout high school. After graduating high school I became a lead preschool teacher for several years. I also managed a kid’s gym and became the curriculum developer for the classes at the gym.
I am now a certified dedicated WISDOM kids coach. I enjoy guiding children to trust their inner guidance to sustain and maintain balance in their decision-making. Using my mantra of (Feel+Mindset = Balance) to help with their connection to their overall self-development. I truly connect with the methodology Adventures in Wisdom use with story-based coaching. These segments allow the opportunity to show children how amazing and complex the brain can be. While also allowing a fun way to learn more about how the conscious and subconscious mind works.
I am grateful for all the wonderful experiences of working with children. My adventures continue to enrich my journey and someday own a kid’s gym. The gym will be based on strengthening children’s minds and bodies. Having the ability to dream and move in alignment with a dream is the mindset I place forth for myself and the children of today. The passion it takes to work with children will always be displayed for me as pure joy and excitement. From a young child to an adult this same passion for supporting others is what drives me to this every day. I truly appreciate now having the tools to support children in their life journey. The opportunity to guide children towards self-love and the love of others is the impact I want to have on society. I’m excited and honored to support your child and their journey.
